Time for Advice
You may or may not have heard - but Kelly and I are pregnant. We are excited (and obviously freaked out!) to be starting this new stage of our lives. But I would love, love, love all the advice and stories that are available in the wealth of wisdom of the Women of Christian Associates. So, leave me all your advice on pregnancy, newborns, etc, etc, in the comments!
oh - you might like the details. The due date is October 4 (so I should be nice and round by staff conference :) ) and we will find out the sex, but not for at least a few weeks yet. If you would like to hear Kelly's thoughts on becoming a father, and see some ultrasound pictures, you can check out his blog at here

I'm still so thrilled to hear of your pregnancy! You go, girl!
Advice? Ask Heather. She's the guru, I hear. Don't worry/fret so much about all the stuff you have to buy. It usually comes in in unique ways. Trust God for that.
And read up about postpartem stuff. I never knew about that when I had my first, so I was very surprised to be sore for so long afterward.
Wow Mary, thanks for giving me guru status :) I hope that doesn't mean I have to shave my head and wear a saffron robe.
Actually, yeah April, postpartum stuff is good to be aware of, particularly the "baby blues". They can kind of sneak out of nowhere and broadside you.
hey everyone so far - thanks!
i decided this week that you hear far too many horror stories/pain stories about the birthing process, so i need to start gathering joy stories and "people do this all the time" stories so I go in believing in my body- so thanks lisa for your input!
keep it comin!
